Where is this place? Do I need to book lodging?

No need to find a hotel! Full Moon Resort is a quiet 100-acre retreat in the lush mountains of New York, with onsite lodging for all guests in a variety of room options. When you RSVP; you'll select your preference for room tier/pricing, and we'll handle the rest.

Why the Catskills?

Our loved ones live all over the country, so most people would have to travel no matter where we held our wedding. We settled on Full Moon because (in addition to being breathtakingly beautiful) they've got everything onsite: lodging, ceremony space, and reception venue all within walking distance so nobody has to worry about transportation once they get there. Plus, with fun places to hang out on site, we'll be able to spend the weekend together instead of spread out in hotel rooms all over town.

How do I get there?

Please see the "Getting There" tab for detailed travel information.

What should I bring?

The venue has hiking trails nearby, a 6-hole Frisbee golf course, and three large fields along with a pool—so pack accordingly, with any lawn games, board games, swimsuits, etc! Evenings can be chilly, so bring a warm jacket or sweater. Bug spray, sunscreen, a rain jacket, and any medications you might need are also recommended—the nearest pharmacy is a 20 minute drive.

Can I share lodging with another guest or group not on my invitation?

Yes! If you'd like to share a room with another guest, just let us know in the "special requests" question when you RSVP. If you'd like to be nearby another group, you can let us know that as well (we promise to put you near your friends as best we can!).

What's the dress code?

Friday night BBQ: Casual (Think sundresses, khakis, button-ups, etc.) Saturday Ceremony & Reception: Semi-formal/cocktail (Cocktail or long, summery formal dresses; Suits or jackets with ties optional). Our ceremony will be outdoors and include grassy areas, so please don't wear stilettos!

What food and beverages are available during my stay?

A full breakfast and lunch will be served on Saturday, along with a farewell breakfast on Sunday. Guests can bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for between meals. We'll have some extra snacks on hand, too!

Will there be cell phone reception?

There is no cell phone reception at Full Moon Resort. You will start to lose cell service 20 minutes from the resort. Complimentary phone service for all calls within the U.S. is available at all times at the Inn. There is also complimentary Wi-Fi available throughout the facility, no passwords required. Most cell phones have Wi-Fi calling capability. Or there are apps that you can download that use Wi-Fi for calling and messaging (we use WhatsApp all the time now living abroad).

What is the weather like in the Catskills?

Summer in the Catskills is typically warm, but temperatures can rain from the 60s-90s. For updated weather information, click here: https://weather.com/weather/today/l/12410:4:US

What does Full Moon provide for guests?

Full Moon is not a hotel, but has all the usual amenities; bathrooms are stocked with soap & shampoo, coffee is served all day at the main inn, WiFi is free, and—although cell service isn't reliable—there's a landline onsite for any urgent calls.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are not allowed at Full Moon. Please make other arrangements for your furry friends!

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Personal-stock alcoholic beverages are allowed in your private room, but not allowed in public areas due to State Liquor Laws.

How can guests be reached at Full Moon?

Emergency messages will be sent to Full Moon Resort's Managers who will relay the message to you in a timely manner. You can also email, text or call through the WiFi if your cell phone has this capability.
